Padam Bhatia, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and founder of Elevate Psychiatry. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. A Virginia native, Dr. Bhatia completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated with honors and became determined to pursue a calling in medicine. He received his doctorate degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College (formerly Jefferson Medical College) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he completed his medical training and fell in love with the field of psychiatry. His passion led him to serve as chief resident in adult psychiatry at Zucker Hillside Hospital in New York, one of the premiere independent psychiatric hospitals in the country.
Dr. Bhatia is also an expert in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), compassionate use, and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). He takes a progressive approach to treating patients by incorporating traditional medicine with evidence-based holistic therapies. He uses his expertise to develop effective treatment plans which focus on creating healthy lifestyles. Dr. Bhatia's peer-reviewed literature has been published in nationally recognized medical journals including Epilepsy & Behavior and Psychiatric Quarterly. He has been given the honorable recognition of Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA) for his dedication to psychiatry.

Polina Dasgupta, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA). Polina also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a focus on biology and chemistry (Summa Cum Laude) from Alcorn State University, where she was awarded a full academic scholarship. She received her Masters of Medical Sciences degree in physician assistant studies from Arcadia University located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her clinical PA training included psychiatry, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, family and emergency medicine, as well as others.
Prior to PA school, Polina was pursuing graduate work in neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. The focus of her research was biological psychiatry, which resulted in several publications in scientific journals such as Cerebral Cortex and Brain and Behavior. Polina additionally worked as a milieu Therapist at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), which is a top ten psychiatric facility. There she provided care to patients suffering from major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance abuse, and autistic spectrum disorders.
Polina is fluent in Russian, English, and Spanish, and speaks some Portuguese.
